A talented director friend of mine, Laura Savia, is working at
Williamstown this summer. While the big slots were filled by bigger playwrights than me, Laura gave me a call when she was looking for material for the
apprentices to work with.
Maybe some day one of my full-lengths will be on the mainstage at Williamstown (I can only hope!). But for the moment, I am delighted to have student actors working with my words at that fabulous place, where old plays are revived, new plays are revered, and audiences receive the best of summer theater experiences.
